Our Business Development Representative serves as the bridge between the market, prospective clients, and our sales team. This individual leads the acquisition of new customers in specific accounts and market segments where our products and services can add value. You will support the growth of Epistemix by increasing revenue through deals you help source. You will work within the CEO, Enterprise Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and key members of the go-to-market team to increase revenue, increase the number of customers we work with, and increase the pipeline of qualified opportunities for our sales team.

Key Responsibilities
Consistently generate qualified leads for the sales team.
Curate messaging based around known personas.
Outreach to known personas to schedule meetings.
Communicate with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and other key members of the go-to-market team prior to scheduled meetings.
Follow up after calls with prospective customers.
Confirm with leads before meetings to ensure no shows are at a minimum.
Perform a cadence of cold Emails, Sales Navigator messages, and cold calls.
Communicate valuable feedback from prospects with the go-to-market team.
Keep our CRM up to date and perform tasks in a timely manner

Experience in a company with less than 10 people where you were responsible for bringing in leads, qualifying leads, and/or selling.
Prior experience in healthcare, life sciences, insurance, or consumer insights.
Experience selling tech-enabled service offerings.
A network of connections in data science, pharma, health tech, consumer insights, reinsurance, and other growing data science companies.
How You Are Compensated
Base salary: $80,000.00
Bonus on enterprise deals closed: 1% commission on the deal
Bonus on Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs): $1,000.00 per SQL
Bonus on Marketing Qualified Meetings (MQLs): $100 per MQL qualified meetings.
